The Machines are managed by SEM Nantes culture&patrimoine

Nantes Métropole has delegated the cultural, technical and commercial management of the attraction to the Public-Private Corporation Nantes culture&patrimoine. Pierre Orefice is the director of the attraction, and more than 20 employees are involved in serving the public and operating the Machines.
 
Nantes culture&patrimoine is a public-private corporation that manages tourism-related cultural attractions for the Nantes area.  Website: www.nantescultureetpatrimoine.fr
 
Nantes culture&patrimoine also manages the Château des ducs de Bretagne under a public service delegation contract with the City of Nantes.
 
It is also in charge of:
- General and technical coordination of the Shipyards site on the Ile de Nantes
- Visitor services for the crypts of the Nantes Cathedral.
- Management of the Museum gift shop at the Fine Arts Museum of Nantes
 
The City of Nantes is the majority shareholder of Nantes culture&patrimoine, with 64%. The Loire-Atlantique Department holds 10%, Nantes Métropole 5% and the Pays de la Loire Region 5%. The other shareholders are the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, the CCI, the Caisse d’Epargne of Pays de la Loire, the Nantes Métropole Tourist Office, the Association Culturelle de l’Eté, and the Nantes Métropole International Conference Centre.
 
Jean-Louis Jossic, deputy mayor of Nantes in charge of culture, is the president of Nantes culture&patrimoine, and Jean-Baptiste Desbois is the managing director.
