Throughout your visit, stagehands will explain the history and workings of these fantastic creatures, and breathe life into the imaginary world of the Heron Tree.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Marine Worlds Carrousel<\/strong> is a merry-go-round with 36 machines spread over 3 floors. You can <u>drop them off and secure them to one of the two stroller parks located across from the ticket desk<\/u>. You can <strong>also buy a combination lock at the ticket desk for \u20ac4.80<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"LMI_FAQ_ITEM\"><h3><button type=\"button\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Can we park our camper van there?<\/button><\/h3><div class=\"LMI_FAQ_ITEM_TEXTE\"><p>The parking lot across from Machines de l&#8217;\u00eele does not accept camper vans or RVs.<\/p>\n<p>The parking lot at 3 Place de la Petite Hollande, however, does accept them (except on outdoor market days). Les Machines de l&#8217;\u00eele are 5-10 minutes away on foot.<\/p>\n<p>You can visit the href=&#8221;https:\/\/www.levoyageanantes.fr\/en\/places\/area_for_camper\/&#8221;>Le Voyage \u00e0 Nantes website<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"LMI_FAQ_ITEM\"><h3><button type=\"button\" aria-expanded=\"false\">How to get to the workshop balconies and the prototype branch of the Heron Tree?<\/button><\/h3><div class=\"LMI_FAQ_ITEM_TEXTE\"><p>Access to the balconies overlooking the workshop (view of the workshops, 16-minute film, and descent to the Heron Tree prototype branch) is included with every ticket (Galerie des Machines, Marine Worlds Carrousel, or Grand Elephant ride).<br \/>\nThere is, however, no ticket available to visit these spaces on their own.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"LMI_FAQ_ITEM\"><h3><button type=\"button\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Can adults ride the merry-go-round?<\/button><\/h3><div class=\"LMI_FAQ_ITEM_TEXTE\"><p>The Marine Worlds Carrousel is designed for everyone: adults and children alike. You can board one of the \u201cmachines\u201d with the purchase of a \u201cVisit + 1 ride\u201d ticket in Fairground Mode.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"LMI_FAQ_ITEM\"><h3><button type=\"button\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Can we climb on top of the machines?<\/button><\/h3><div class=\"LMI_FAQ_ITEM_TEXTE\"><p>During tours of the Galerie des Machines, stagehands may call on a few volunteers to participate. The \u201cNu\u00e9e de Papillons\u201d\u00a0(or \u201cButterfly Swarm\u201d) is freely accessible. However, it is not possible to climb onto any of the other machines, unless requested to do so by a stagehand.<\/p>\n<p>You can climb atop the machines on the Marine Worlds Carrousel by purchasing a \u201cVisit + 1 ride\u201d ticket in Fairground Mode.<\/p>\n<p>The minimum height to board the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> level is 1m 35 (4 \u00bd feet). Boarding certain machines may be restricted, depending on visitor\u2019s age.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading faq\">Online reservations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"LMI_FAQ_ITEM\"><h3><button type=\"button\" aria-expanded=\"false\">I don&#8217;t see any slots available for reservation during the week. Does that mean the site is closed, or fully booked?<\/button><\/h3><div class=\"LMI_FAQ_ITEM_TEXTE\"><p>Certain time slots for trips on the Grand Elephant, tours of the Galerie des Machines, and the Marine Worlds Carrousel, are open to reservation on <strong>weekends, French school vacations, and French public holidays<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If no availability appears, this means the slots are either full or unavailable. However, it has no heating or air-conditioning system.<br \/>\nThe Carrousel des Mondes Marins is a structure open to the elements, making it subject to different meteorological conditions: heat, cold, rain, and wind.<\/p>\n<p>The operation of the Grand \u00c9l\u00e9phant is subject to weather conditions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In the event of severe weather (strong gusts of wind or extreme heat): <\/strong>certain access points or elements of the Galerie des Machines and the Carrousel des Mondes Marins may be closed or exceptionally closed.
