Are sites protected from bad weather?

The Galerie des Machines is an enclosed space and is therefore not subject to external weather conditions. However, it has no heating or air-conditioning system.
The Carrousel des Mondes Marins is a structure open to the elements, making it subject to different meteorological conditions: heat, cold, rain, and wind.

The operation of the Grand Éléphant is subject to weather conditions.

In the event of severe weather (strong gusts of wind or extreme heat): certain access points or elements of the Galerie des Machines and the Carrousel des Mondes Marins may be closed or exceptionally closed. In this situation, Grand Éléphant rides may also be cancelled.

Decisions to close venues will be taken at the last minute so as to keep them open as long as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience if the site is closed during your visit.
